Year Adviser Message

A Message to Year 12

Dear Year 12,

The time has finally come, your high school journey is ending! From nervous Year 7s finding your way around the school, to confident young adults ready to take on the world, you’ve grown so much in these six years.

You’ve faced challenges, shown resilience, and created countless memories. Whether it was through sports, carnivals, performances, camps, excursions, leadership roles, classroom banter, or just the everyday laughs with your friends. Every one of you has left your mark on Evans High School.

As you get ready to step into life beyond school, remember that there’s no single path to success. Some of you will head to uni, TAFE, apprenticeships, or work, and others might take time to explore what’s next. Whatever your direction, back yourselves you have the skills, experiences, and determination to thrive.

Take chances. Be kind. Learn from mistakes. Celebrate wins big or small. And most of all, remember that you’re capable of more than you often give yourself credit for.

Year 12, as you walk out those gates for the last time, know that you’ll always be part of the Evans High family. Mr Kumar and I are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll go on to achieve.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your high school journey. Good luck in your exams and beyond, you’ve got this!
