Love Your Library
Mr Alex Hanssen
The Laurence Library is gearing up to celebrate the end of Term One with a bit of Easter fun!
In Week 10, we will transform the space with some cheerful Easter flair and would love your help. If you are a fan of pastel colours, handy at crafting or just enjoy being in the Library, come join us in decorating the library during recess and lunch early in the week – many hands make light (and lively) work!
With decorating done, we can move into Week 11 with a basketful of Easter-themed events to wrap up the term on a sweet note. Our crowd-favourite “Blind Date with a Book” is getting an egg-cellent makeover, so keep your eyes peeled for something new. We are also running a daily riddle hunt – solve each day’s clue to work your way towards a special treat at the end of the week. And of course, what would Easter be without a good old-fashioned hunt? Pop by during lunchtime to take part in our library Easter hunt and see what surprises you can find.
For those interested, we are also allowing the opportunity to borrow a book for the school holiday break! Feel free to browse our collection to pick up something you can really sink your teeth into during the two-week downtime.
Hop on in over the next fortnight – there’s something for everyone as we wind down the term with a little bit of fun and the prospect of two full weeks of reading afterwards!
