Junior School Report 

Junior School Term 3 Wrap Up.

Term 3 has been another busy and exciting term in Junior School, with students across Years 7, 8 and 9 participating in a wide range of learning experiences and activities.

Term 3 Highlights

When speaking with students, some of their highlights from the term have included Athletics Day, interschool sport, the Year 7 Zoo excursion, Kiosk, Music and participating in the school production. 

Students have also enjoyed working with clay and creating sculptures in Art, participating in the Knox Symposium in English, and listening to our student bands perform at assemblies. There was even an impromptu microwave cookery class when the gas was unavailable!

A special thank you to Mr Sohtra and Mr Dempsey for acting in the Junior School throughout Term 3 and supporting our students with their connection and engagement at school. We look forward to welcoming Ms Smith back to the Junior School in Term 4.

Coming Up in Term 4

There is plenty to look forward to in Term 4, including:

• Year 8 Allambee Camp: 27 October
• Year 9 City Week and Zoo Snooze: 9–13 November
• Mini Olympics fundraiser
• School for Student Leadership
• End of year activities

Reminders

A uniform blitz will take place during the first week of Term 4. We ask families to support students to return to school in full formal or sports uniform.

Families are also reminded to update absences on Compass or contact the school when their child is away.

Thank you to our students, families and staff for another fantastic term. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable break and look forward to seeing our students back for Term 4!
