Book Week - Children's Author Visit

Astrid's Big Day - Written by Elyse Hunt

Prep, Year One and Year 2 students will welcome local Ballarat children’s author Elyse Hunt on Tuesday 22nd August for Book Week.

Elyse will run a session with the children which will include reading her debut book Astrid's Big Day, which was released last year.

The book tells the tale of Astrid the dog and follows her emotional experiences throughout her day.

As a special offer for Miners Rest Primary School students - signed copies of the book can be purchased for $17 (retail $20) via the link below and given out on the day of the visit. Books can also be purchased on the day, or from Ballarat's local book stores.
