Writers Festival

Everybody is so excited about our upcoming Miners Rest Primary School Writers Festival. We encourage parents to come along and see the fantastic, published writing from all of our students. It will be held in the gym.

Timetable:

2:20pm - Parents are able to collect their students from their classes to go and visit the Writers Festival

3:00pm - All students and visiting parents will assemble in the gym for the Writers Festival Awards Ceremony

3:20pm - End of the school day

If any parents would like to take their children home early on the day, please advise your teacher and then sign out the students in the office. If your child is going to be awarded a prize, you will be contacted prior to the event, in order for you to attend if you wish. For families not able to attend on Friday 1st September, the display will be available until 3:30pm on Monday 4th September.
