Welcome back to Term 2! It has been so lovely to see all of the students return this week, settled, happy, and ready to learn.
The year 1’s have spent the week re-establishing our classroom routines and expectations to help everyone feel comfortable and confident. Students have been practising how we learn and play together in a safe and respectful way, including being kind to others, using our words to solve problems, and keeping our hands and bodies to ourselves.
It has also been a great week of reconnecting, with students enjoying time to share their holiday experiences and rebuild friendships. We are proud of how positively they have returned and the effort they are putting into making our classroom a welcoming space for everyone.
As we move forward, we will continue to build on these routines and expectations to support a smooth and successful term
