As we reach the end of Term 3, there is much to celebrate across our school community. From the wonder and discovery taking place in our Kindergarten classrooms to the dedication and perseverance of our senior students preparing for their future pathways, this term has been filled with learning, growth and achievement. Whether in the classroom, on the sporting field, through the arts, or in service to others, our students continue to demonstrate courage, curiosity and commitment, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.
The end of Term 3 also provides an important opportunity to pause. In a fast-paced world, the school holidays remind us of the value of rest and renewal—and how essential both are for students’ growth. Taking time to slow down, connect with family and friends, and enjoy simple daily pleasures can have a profound impact on our wellbeing. Whether spending time outdoors, reading, enjoying a favourite hobby, or sharing meals and conversation, these moments help replenish our energy for the term ahead.
For our younger students, the break is an ideal time to maintain gentle habits that support ongoing learning. Reading together, exploring local places of interest, practising independence, and encouraging creative play all contribute to a positive start to Term 4. Keeping consistent sleep schedules – and gradually re-establishing morning routines in the final few days – will help children transition back to school with confidence and enthusiasm.

For students preparing for early Term 4 examinations, the break offers a chance to combine targeted study with meaningful rest. Short, regular study sessions are far more effective than lengthy last-minute cramming. Setting clear goals, reviewing notes, testing key concepts, and seeking help when needed all build confidence. Above all, nutritious meals, physical movement, and adequate sleep remain essential to performing at their best.
As we look ahead, Term 4 brings many important milestones. Students across the school will begin preparing for transitions into new year levels and, for some, entirely new stages of their educational journey. There will be opportunities to celebrate learning, participate in end-of-year events and reflect on the growth that has occurred throughout 2026.
Thank you to our families for your ongoing partnership and support. Your encouragement plays a vital role in the success of our students and strengthens the sense of community that makes our school such a special place. I would like to wish everyone a safe, restful and joyful holiday break and look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed, re-energised and ready to make the most of a rewarding final term.
