It's been a busy and rewarding term so far, and we are excited to share a few wonderful updates from our English Faculty.

Welcoming Our New English Staff

We are thrilled to introduce:

Chelsea Doig, Kyla Perez, Deborah Kielnhofer and Thomas Barlow, who have recently joined our English staff department. 

With a passion for literature and a commitment to fostering a love of learning, these staff members bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our school. We know our students will benefit greatly from their expertise and dedication.

Introducing 

Our New Digital Library Platform

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Digital Library Platform! This innovative resource will provide students with easy access to a vast collection of e-books, audiobooks, and educational materials. Designed to support both in-class learning and independent reading, the digital library is available 24/7, allowing students to explore new books, discover research materials, and enjoy reading at their convenience.

To get started, students should be able to login via their XUNO platform. We encourage all students to explore this fantastic resource and take advantage of the literacy tools available to support their learning journey.

Congratulations to Year 7 and 9 Students on completing NAPLAN

We would also like to extend our congratulations to our Year 7 and Year 9 students for successfully completing their NAPLAN assessments. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and positive attitude throughout the testing process. Well done, Year 7 and Year 9!

Looking Ahead

We have much to look forward to in the coming terms, including theatrical text performances, reading clubs, and writing competitions.
