Wellbeing Team

The Wellbeing team and the student leads of Wellbeing and Inclusion spent Tuesday 1st April lunchtime handing out fruit for the students to promote the upcoming Breakfast Club which starts in Term 2.

Held on Wednesday mornings between 8:15-8:45, the Breakfast Club, held in G1 and the courtyard, will provide free, nutritious breakfast provisions such as cereal, fruit, toast, and jaffles.

The Breakfast Club not only helps students meet their nutritional needs but also fosters a sense of community and belonging.

This term the Wellbeing Team has been running a series of small group activities with Year 8 students, focusing on themes of belonging and self-esteem. These activities are designed to help students explore their personal identities, build confidence, and foster a sense of connection with their peers. By engaging in reflective exercises, group discussions, and creative tasks, students will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of self-worth and inclusivity. In Term 2, Year 8 classes will participate in a class workshop that builds upon these themes, creating a platform for students to further explore inclusivity and develop skills for creating a supportive, welcoming environment for all.
