Year 7 French Classes: Bonjour to Fun and Self-Introductions!

In Year 7 French classes, students have been learning how to greet each other, talk about their age, and introduce themselves in French. 

After being randomly assigned to different groups, they each created their own name cards, proudly introducing their names and ages in French. This fun activity helped boost their confidence and encouraged social interaction during class!

As part of the activity, students also had the chance to share more about themselves in French, drawing pictures of their favourite foods, toys, hobbies, and more. 

It was a creative and engaging way to practice the language while getting to know each other better!

Year 8 Students Get a Sweet Taste of German Culture!

Students have been studying the topic of food and completing various tasks, from creating a menu, role-playing ordering food in a restaurant, to looking and translating cake recipes.

Meanwhile, our Year 7 German students have made a great start to the year. 

They have been busy improving their vocabulary knowledge, understanding of verbs and nouns as well as doing some role-plays putting their newly acquired language skills to good use. 

A fantastic start to their German learning journey!
