A Wonderful Start to Term 4
It’s been a fantastic beginning to Term 4 here at DPS, and we are so proud of the energy and enthusiasm our students have brought into the final stretch of the year. We have had the pleasure of seeing our students thrive across a range of engaging programs that support both their learning and wellbeing.
One of the highlights has been our Dance Curriculum, which has brought joy, creativity and movement into classrooms. Students have loved expressing themselves through dance, building confidence, coordination and teamwork. This curriculum is designed not only to develop physical skills but also to foster self-expression and a sense of belonging—key elements of our holistic approach to education.
We were thrilled to welcome families to our Gala Morning, where students proudly showcased their dance talents. The performances were exceptional, and it was heartwarming to see our students shine in front of their loved ones. Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended and supported this special event—it meant so much to our students.
Our younger students have also had a wonderful time participating in sports sessions with a wellbeing focus, thanks to the inspiring team from Heroes with Abilities. These sessions have been inclusive, energetic and empowering, helping our students build resilience, social skills and a love for movement. The smiles and laughter during these sessions have been a true testament to the positive impact of combining physical activity with wellbeing education.
As we continue through Term 4, we remain committed to looking after every student—supporting their academic growth, emotional wellbeing and social development.
Thank you for your continued support in making our school a caring and vibrant community.
