Half way through term 4! 

Dance Curriculum

We kicked off Term 4 with our dance curriculum over the first two weeks, and what an amazing start it has been! The students learned two new dances and performed them with confidence and enthusiasm. I am so proud of their hard work and teamwork – it was a joy to watch!

Reading

In Reading, we have been diving into The BFG by Roald Dahl. The students have been fully engaged with the story, exploring the characters and adventures while building their comprehension skills. Their enthusiasm for reading has been wonderful to see!

Writing

In Writing, the students have been focusing on narrative writing, learning how to create problems in their stories that hook the reader. They are developing their storytelling skills beautifully, and soon they will begin exploring persuasive writing.

Maths

Our Maths lessons have been focused on reviewing the topics we’ve learned throughout the year, including data, graphs, addition, and subtraction. It has been fantastic to see the students’ growth and deeper understanding of these concepts.

Special Events

We had a lot of fun recently with Crazy Hair Day and a sausage sizzle to celebrate our students’ great work on school-wide behaviour. These events were a great way to reward their efforts and enjoy some fun together!

We are excited for the second half of Term 4 and can’t wait to see all the amazing learning and achievements that lie ahead!
