Holy Week

As a Catholic community, Holy Week holds a special place in our school calendar. It is a time for reflection, inviting us to pause and remember the profound sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross.
On Tuesday, our staff and students gathered at St Joseph's Church for a Holy Week Liturgy. This meaningful celebration provided an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the true significance of Easter, and to reflect on how Jesus’ death and resurrection remain at the heart of our faith.
Through the reverent presentation of the Stations of the Cross, along with the beautiful hymns sung by our choir, we were invited to enter into the story of Jesus’ final days and reflect on the suffering He endured. Through His sacrifice, we are prompted to carry our crosses daily and reach out to others in love.
While this demonstration reminds us of the sorrow and darkness of His Passion, it also leads us towards the hope of the Resurrection. Jesus’ triumph over death is a powerful reminder that even in life’s most difficult moments, hope is never lost and new life is always possible.
We warmly encourage our community to join us at St Joseph's Church, Queens Park this long weekend as we continue to reflect on and celebrate this sacred time together.
