Kilnacrott Day

Kilnacrott Day, which was held on 17 March, was an annual event that celebrated House spirit and shared history. The shared energy was high from the beginning of the day when we held a volleyball competition. It was a great privilege to see every year group engage with enthusiasm. A special congratulations to my very own Homeroom, K4, for their hard-earned victory on the court.
Our liturgical service during Period 4 reminded us that the Norbertines ground our community not only as a House, but as a school in prayer and tradition. It was an intimate way to gather the Kilnacrott community together. This was then followed by our very special sausage sizzle lunch held in the Xanten Theatre, where there was music and lots of lively chatter.
As it was the captains’ last Kilnacrott Day, it was a pleasure to see the contribution of every Kilnacrott member. Whether competing, praying, or sharing a meal, everyone’s genuine, communal and warm attitude was refreshing.
