Prayer

A Collection of Prayers from the Stations of the Cross:
Lord, help us to remember that when we stand up for fairness and truth we are never alone; you are before and beside us, strengthening us always.
When we are mocked or bullied, help us to seek to understand and forgive, so we might never fall into the trap of bulling others in turn.
Guide our steps as we journey through life. When we stumble and fall, may we always remember that you are ready to pick us up and encourage us to walk tall.
Remind us that love costs and to value it above all things. Foster in us a loving, grateful and humble heart, ready to listen and grow.
Help us to trust that when others ask for our help they believe we can make a difference. Give us the courage to step forward and get involved.
Foster in us a compassionate heart, brave enough to share another's pain, humble enough to shed a tear, big enough to shelter their hopes, ready, always, to care.
Remind us when life is hard, that you never leave us to face our difficulties alone. Help us to see that you work through others; picking us up and restoring our strength.
Help us to be faithful; to our friends, to our families, to our beliefs. Never let the pressure to fit in, prevent us from standing out.
Help us to give witness to the truth, that with You there are always fresh starts.
Open our eyes and our hearts, that we can see your image in all around us. Give us the courage to stand up for the dignity of each person, including ourselves.
May we never forget that with each kind word and merciful act, we help to create a culture of love, that counteracts a culture of hate. Remind us that our love makes a difference.
Help us to stay faithful in the darkest of times. When others lose hope, give us the grace to help them find it.
May we always pay our respects to those who have died and support those left grieving, through prayer, a visit, and acts of care.
Open our eyes, to notice beauty in the world, kindness in people, love all around us, and Your Risen Son, everywhere.
Amen.
St Norbert, pray for us.
