Harmony Day 2026

We value every opportunity to celebrate the rich diversity that makes up our College community.
On the 25 March, our College came together to celebrate Harmony Day, a significant occasion dedicated to inclusiveness, respect and a shared sense of belonging for people from all backgrounds. With students representing over 30 different countries, it is a day that holds particular importance within our community and serves as a meaningful reminder of the strength found in our diversity.
Students were invited to wear traditional cultural attire, their House shirt, or orange, the official colour of Harmony Day. The campus was filled with colour and vibrancy, with kimonos, conical hats, flowers, tunics and many other garments reflecting the unique cultural identities within our college.
The day began with a liturgy, providing time for reflection on how the values of Harmony Day align with our Catholic mission and commitment to community. This was followed by a Cultural Dress Parade, where students proudly showcased their heritage in a spirit of celebration and respect.
At lunchtime, students enjoyed a wide variety of international foods and participated in activities from around the world, including Taiko drumming, bocce, yoga and basketball. These experiences offered a hands-on way to engage with different cultures and traditions.
The celebrations concluded with a Cultural Concert featuring songs, dances and drumming. The performances highlighted the power of music to connect people across cultures and bring communities together.
Days such as these are a powerful expression of one of our core values, community, and a reminder of the importance of embracing and celebrating our differences.
