Term 3, Week 6 Update

Hi everyone, it’s your school captains, Adam and Elaha! We hope everyone has settled back into Term 3 and is ready for what is going to be another busy and exciting term. With lots of events, activities and opportunities coming up, make sure you stay organised, get involved and keep an eye out for important reminders!

One of the first major events of the term was Athletics, which took place on the 18th of August. Students were encouraged to get involved by dressing up in their House colours and competing in a range of races and activities to earn valuable House points. Year 12 student leaders also organised for face painting to take place, with a small fee going towards House charities. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and school spirit throughout the day, with students getting behind their Houses and supporting their friends and classmates. 

Recently, the Year 12 cohort also had the opportunity to take part in a Senior Movie Night. It was a great chance for the Seniors to come together, relax and enjoy a classic comedy film after a busy start to the term. Formal is also coming up on the 15th of September, with the theme of masquerade. Events like these are a great way for the Year 12 cohort to connect and make the most of their final year together. 

More whole school events are coming up such as Multicultural Day! So make sure to keep a heads up and get ready to celebrate a diverse set of backgrounds. We are almost three quarters done with this school year, so let's make sure to stay positive, support one another and make the most of the rest of the term!
