Upcoming Home and School Partnership Meetings

Wednesday 17th June 2026, 12:30pm - 5:30pm

In 2026 at ENPS we continue to prioritise our connection between home and school and our communication and relationships with families through our Home and School Partnerships strategy.

This Home and School Partnership strategy is aimed to enhance and improve:

  • parent/carer connections to classroom learning

  • parent/carer connection and communication with teachers

  • expectations for home learning and ways to support children to maximise their potential at school

  • parent/carer connection and involvement with school, School Council and school events.

With our strategy in mind, we invite all parents/carers to a ‘Home and School Partnership Meeting’ with their child’s teacher on Wednesday 17th June.

In order to provide this opportunity and dedicated meeting time for families, there will be an early dismissal at 12pm on Wednesday 17th June. Teachers will have scheduled times between 12:30pm - 5:30pm to meet 1:1 with families onsite, in 10 minute time slots. Bookings for these times will be done through Compass. (Booking system and more information to be shared through Compass in due course).

The purpose of these meetings is to work collaboratively, define collective goals and establish purposeful partnerships that strengthen learning outcomes and student success. This will provide parents with an opportunity to reflect on their child's Semester One Achievement Report with their child's teacher.

This model values making time for teachers to meet with parents/carers again in the middle of the year, reinforcing effective channels for communication, to share learning achievements and discuss future goals.

We know that many Victorian Government schools make arrangements like this to support staff and families and we think this is a really valuable opportunity for our families to connect and establish strong and positive partnerships moving forward. We thank our families in advance for your support.

We thank you in advance for your support and we sincerely hope that our efforts to more effectively connect through home and school partnerships are valued by our families.

Kind regards,

The ENPS Executive Team
