Health and Wellbeing

This week in Health and Wellbeing, students have been actively participating in a variety of fun and engaging games designed to build important life skills both inside and outside the classroom.
Through team games, relay challenges, partner activities, and small group sports, students have been learning the value of teamwork and cooperation. They have been encouraged to communicate effectively, support one another, and work together towards shared goals.
A strong focus has also been placed on sportsmanship, with students practising how to win and lose gracefully, show respect to others, and demonstrate fairness during all activities. Learning to encourage teammates and respect opponents has been an important part of our lessons.
Students have also been developing their understanding of following rules and instructions, helping them recognise the importance of safety, fairness, and responsibility in all games and activities.
In addition, many of our activities have supported the development of coordination, balance, movement skills, and confidence. Whether catching, throwing, running, or problem-solving in team challenges, students have been improving both their physical skills and their ability to think quickly and make good decisions.
It has been wonderful to see students showing enthusiasm, resilience, and positive attitudes each week. Health and Wellbeing classes continue to be a fantastic opportunity for students to learn valuable social and physical skills while having fun together.
