Lunch Club

A Friendly Space to Create, Connect and Belong
This week at Lunch Club, students got creative making paper dragonflies! It was fantastic to see everyone designing their own colourful creations, carefully folding, decorating, and bringing their dragonflies to life. The activity was a big hit and showcased just how creative and engaged our students can be.
Lunch Club is a welcoming, inclusive space where students can enjoy their break times in a calm and supportive environment.
Run by our wonderful ES staff in the undercover area, it’s open every day and available to all students. It’s a place where students can step away from the busyness of the yard and choose from a range of engaging options at their own pace.
A strong focus is placed on craft, where students can create, design and make something unique. There are also games and building options available, giving students plenty of choice in how they spend their time.
Lunch Club is all about comfort, creativity, and connection. It’s a space where students can feel included, try new things, and enjoy time with others in a positive environment.
What our students enjoy about Lunch Club:
Allegra (Year 4): “I like coming here because it’s calm and fun.”
Alexa (Year 3): “There’s lots of different craft things to try.”
Evla (Year 1): “I like colouring and making princesses.”
Fred (Year 1): “I can make things and hang out with friends.”
Ira (Year 5): “It’s a nice space to be in.”
We’ve had lots of fun today. Come along next week and see what we’re up to at Lunch Club! We’d love to see you there!
SEEKING BOOK DONATIONS
We’re planning to introduce a reading nook to Lunch Club soon – do you have any spare books that could help bring it to life? Any contribution from our community would be greatly appreciated!
Kindly drop your donations off at the front office, thank you!
