Year 10 Camp

The Year 10 camp began under clear blue skies, setting the stage for an exciting 3 days of adventure, laughter, and teamwork. On the first day, students hit the surf, braving the waves and learning to ride the ocean. That evening, the group came together for a hilarious dress-up trivia night, where creativity, quick thinking, and colourful costumes made for a night full of laughter and friendly rivalry.
The second day brought a perfect mix of challenge and fun. Students spent the morning canoeing on a calm lake, working together in a variety of games and friendly competitions that tested both teamwork and balance. In the afternoon, they swapped paddles for goggles, taking on the dive pool and practising underwater skills in a supportive, upbeat atmosphere. The day was filled with smiles, encouragement, and plenty of splashes, finishing with a relaxing session sitting by the campfire cooking some marshmallows and making smore’s.
On the final day, the camp spirit was put to the test as torrential rain and stormy weather rolled in. Determined not to let the conditions dampen their enthusiasm, students pushed through the elements to complete their outdoor activities, showing resilience, teamwork, and true grit. Though drenched and muddy, everyone finished with huge smiles—proud of what they’d achieved and the memories they’d created together.
A huge thank you goes to Ms Tasiopoulos, Ms Guan, Mr James, and Ms Feiglin for their incredible support, positivity, and upbeat attitude throughout the camp. Their encouragement kept spirits high, no matter the weather, and helped make the experience one the students will never forget.
