Year 8 Camp

Our camp at CYC Phillip Island was an incredible experience where students truly connected with one another and pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones. Throughout the activities - from giant swings and kayaking to team challenges and evening dance contests - everyone showed great resilience, teamwork and enthusiasm. The camp provided opportunities for personal growth, new friendships, and lasting memories. It was wonderful to see students support each other, take on new challenges, and come away feeling more confident and connected as a group.

At year 8 camp, I enjoyed canoeing, flying fox and team rescue. I developed responsibility when we set up and cleaned up for the meals. I made new friends with my cabin mates, and I learned how to work together better in team rescue. A highlight was Amaze N' Things, where we got to have fun playing mini golf, solving puzzles and finding our way around an enormous maze. Overall, this year's camp was a blast and I highly recommend it to any other student!
