Year 7 Boys EMR Table Tennis

Friday 13 October

Congratulations to our Year 7 Table Team who came 3rd in Pool A.

The competition was strong, and the boys were super supportive and encouraging of each other!  A great day all round! Well done boys.

Year 8 Girls EMR Table Tennis

Wednesday 18 October

We headed to Kilsyth stadium seeking ultimate Table Tennis glory. Our five strong team were excited, well-drilled and ready to dominate the table.

Jane Bunn’s weather forecast predicted clear skies, with a top of twenty-five degrees. None of that mattered though, as table tennis is an indoor sport.

First up was Brentwood, where we displayed strong form and took away a set against a very strong team.

Next up was the Balwyn, where again, we played our best, but eventually came up short against the eventual EMR winners.

I couldn’t be prouder of how the team played. I must commend everyone on their behaviour and positive sportsperson ship. Well done to all involved.

Year 7 Volleyball

Monday 24 October

At the State Volleyball Centre in Dandenong, we played 3 matches against Wheeler's Hill SC, Rowville SC, Kew HS. The girls played well and fought hard winning a few sets, but the other schools were just too good! Overall, we had a fun day out, and the girls displayed amazing teamwork and determination!

Special mention to Caitlin Taylor who coached the girls at lunchtime this term, and Student Teacher Zoe, who came along and helped assistant coach on the day.

Year 7 EMR Baseball

Tuesday 24 October

Year 7 Bosy went out to compete in Baseball. The boys finished 2-1 and narrowly missed on making the final.

A great effort for a group of boys that haven't played baseball before!

Big THANK YOU to Max Caulfield, Year 11 for coaching.
