Win $1,000 for creating the next Youth myki!

Entries for this year's myki's Youth Card Design Competition are now open.

All Victorians aged 5 to 17 are invited to design the next Youth myki. The new Youth myki design will be available for purchase online in 2027. If you’ve got a fridge covered in masterpieces, this is your child’s chance to see their art travel far, in the hands of young people across the state!

Whether it’s hand-drawn or digital, Transport Victoria is looking for original, creative designs that capture the spirit of young Victorians.

Entries close 11:59pm 2nd August 2026.

Three designs will be shortlisted and voting will open to the public. The design with the most votes will be chosen as the new Youth myki design for 2027 and win a $1,000 prize!

To enter the Youth myki Card Design Competition, you must: 

• be a resident of Victoria 
• be aged between 5 and 17 years old on 31 December 2026
• ensure your parent or guardian has read the terms and conditions notice and has consented for you to enter.
