Running Club

Running club was a huge success in Term 1.

Over 65 different students from Years 3-6 attended the sessions across the term.

We averaged over 40 participants per session.

The improvement in fitness was on full display at our House Cross Country with many of our running club regulars up the front and finishing in the top 10 of their respective races.

We will continue Running Club in Term 2, starting back in Week 3 after the Year 5-6 Camp.

Girls Cricket

A huge thank you to Cricket Victoria for running a fabulous Girls Cricket Blast Program for the last 4 weeks on Tuesday afternoons. The program engaged girls in Year 3-6 in learning the skills of cricket in a fun and active program.

The girls developed their batting, bowling and fielding skills in a range of engaging activities and games.

The program was also a great professional development opportunity, learning some new games to incorporate into the PE and Sport curriculum in Term 4.

Girls Soccer

This term, girls in Years 5-6 have been developing their soccer skills and understanding of tactics used in games during our Girls Soccer Club. The girls have developed their dribbling, passing, shooting and defending skills in drills, modified games and full field game play.

The program has been a great success once again and will be used as a launch pad for our Girls Soccer Gala Day in Term 2.

Trials for our Girls Soccer team will commence in Term 2.
