Our Early Years students are ready to dive into summer fun with confidence, thanks to the Beach to Bush program.

Delivered by lifesavers from Life Saving Tasmania, the program recently visited our Junior School to teach Prep to Year 2 students essential safety skills for the beach and other aquatic environments, including pools, rivers, dams and lakes.

During the one-hour presentation, students learned about general beach safety messages, identifying hazard and danger, sun safety, rips and waves, calling emergency services, rescues and getting help, and safety in other aquatic environments.

To reinforce these important lessons, students received activity sheets to take home and share with their families.

A big thank you to Life Saving Tasmania for providing this valuable opportunity and helping ensure our students are safe, confident and ready for summer.

A 'bear-y' fun day at the theatre!

Our Kinder, Prep and Year 1 students had a wonderful time at the Playhouse Theatre recently, where they enjoyed an interactive pantomime of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

This playful retelling of the classic fairytale featured colourful costumes, catchy songs and plenty of audience participation, leading to lots of giggles and smiles.
