From the Director of Junior School 

Dear Families,

Last Monday, we were delighted to welcome several new students to our Junior School for Step-Up Day. This special day gives all students the chance to meet their 2026 class teacher and begin forming new connections with their peers. 

We are so proud of our current and future students for approaching the day with resilience and positivity and embracing new challenges with grit and determination!

Just Leadership Day

Last Thursday, Mrs Margaret Rootes and I had the pleasure of accompanying our newly elected 2026 Junior School Leaders to the 'Just Leadership Day' hosted by Caritas. This experience allowed them to meet fellow emerging leaders from other Tasmanian Catholic primary schools and deepen their understanding of servant leadership and the impact they can have within our community.

Through a range of interactive activities and tasks, the students reflected on how they, as individuals and as a collective leadership group, can serve others, not only within our immediate school community, but also those in need locally, nationally and internationally. 

We were incredibly proud of the way they participated throughout the day. Their interactions with others demonstrated key leadership qualities, and they lived out our Presentation Values of responsibility, respect, relationships and resilience as they collaborated and began shaping their vision for leading with purpose in 2026.
