Grease

Mater Dei’s 2024 Musical production of ‘Grease’ has begun with a fabulous and ‘Grease-tastic’ start. 

Early in Term 1 we finalised the Musical roles through a call-back audition period. Students were asked to come to the PAC and perform both a monologue and song for the opportunity to secure a lead role in our Musical. 

Our Pink Ladies, T-Birds and support ensembles are now finalised, with students volunteering their spare time to practice their roles as the College continues to bring Grease to life. The backstage staff and crew are continuing to develop sets, props and costumes. We are fortunate to now have mapped out the entire show and are in the process of putting the final touches on performances for the show as we near the last 6 weeks before showtime. 

Thank you to staff, students and our Mater Dei community for your contributions towards the Musical.  The passion, energy, magic and creativity for our production has been outstanding. We are very fortunate to have this opportunity for our students.
