Japanese
Year 8
Year 8 have undertaken their first term of Japanese with great enthusiasm. They have been working on introductions, numbers, and likes/dislikes. Most students love numbers and have embraced the counting challenge that begins each lesson, where, as a class, they attempt to count to 100. For the first time in a number of years, one class has been successful. Congratulations 8-1!
Year 9
Year 9 Elective Japanese students have practiced on family and friends this term, learning to introduce and talk about people. While some students are still a little shy in communicating in Japanese, others have embraced the opportunity to put their new language to use. Many of these students will have the opportunity to visit Japan later this year to put their skills to use in the real world!
