Year 7
Year 7 Music students have focused on developing performance skills on keyboard, ukulele and guitar. They have learnt about the concepts of pitch, duration, texture and structure and have applied their understanding to various compositions using Soundtrap and Noteflight IT platforms.
Year 8
Year 8 students have focused on the musical characteristics of The Blues, leading to learning Rock riffs which were based on the Blues scale and intervals, including Smoke on the Water, Sunshine of Your Love and Peter Gunn.
