This week our students in Year 7, 8 and 9 received their assessment schedules for this term.
To assist in their preparation I have shared the following advice:
Your formal exams are woven into your regular timetable. Attending school on the days you have a formal test scheduled is very important, as these assessments are a key way we measure student progress.
Feeling a bit anxious is a completely normal part of the process. As you move through high school and gain more experience with formal exams, you will feel much more comfortable. Staying prepared and organised goes a long way in reducing stress. Try learning a simple breathing technique, such as box breathing, to help calm your nerves before a test.
During formal exams, positive classroom behavior is essential. Talking, turning around, or causing disruptions carries clear consequences, as we want to ensure every student has a fair, quiet environment to do their best.
Homework Club runs every Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00pm in the College library. This is a great opportunity to get extra help with your revision.
