Innovation, Leadership, Friendship – Our Ambassadors Shine!
Young Innovators in Action!
This year, a dedicated group of students proudly represented our school through the Student Ambassador Program, participating in five dynamic, full-day sessions at the Banyule Nillumbik Tech School (BNTS).
Our ambassadors for 2025 were:Fia Wu (Year 7), Sumaya Abdulwahid (Year 7), Olivia Lord (Year 9), Soham Joglekar (Year 10), and Aiden Kan (Year 10).
What the Program Involves
Across the five sessions, students engaged in:
- Design Thinking & Creative Problem Solving
- Project-Based STEAM Challenges
- Community & Industry Engagement
- Teamwork, Communication & Leadership Development
- Hands-on experience with advanced tools and technologies
They explored diverse subject areas including Science, Technologies, Engineering, Visual Communication, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business and Enterprise.
Collaboration, Friendships & Real-World Learning
A major highlight of the program was the opportunity to work alongside students from other schools. Our ambassadors formed new friendships, learned to collaborate across different year levels and communities, and grew confident in sharing their ideas with diverse teams. These experiences helped them strengthen their interpersonal skills and broaden their perspectives.
Final Showcase
The program concluded with a vibrant showcase where students presented their real-world solutions to peers, staff, and community partners. Their creativity, teamwork, and thoughtful design thinking were on full display.
As the teacher ambassador for our school, I could not have been prouder watching them perform so confidently and creatively in front of the wider community.
We also extend a special thank you to all the parents who attended the showcase and supported their children throughout the program. Your encouragement made the day even more memorable for our ambassadors.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly proud of Fia, Sumaya, Olivia, Soham, and Aiden for the commitment, positivity, and leadership they brought to this year’s program. Their journey truly reflects the spirit of stepping up, standing out, and shaping the future.
We look forward to seeing many more students take part in this exciting opportunity next year.
