Sail Boat Challenge

Year 8 Activities Week, they participated in a 'Sailboat Engineering Challenge' to design, build, and test a sailboat that can travel the fastest distance across a water surface using limited materials. The students had a session of making the vessel then a session of testing it. The students used some half pipe with water and electric fans to push the boats down the stream. Some sank some floated and some made it in a quick time but most of all there was lots of smiles, cheering and good fun had by all. 

The winners were 8F and 8L
