Congratulations to the Girls Senior soccer team!

After four determined and hard-fought attempts in previous years, the Girls Senior Soccer team has finally secured their place in the prestigious State Finals!
This achievement marks a significant milestone for the players, who have not only grown in skill and confidence as individuals but have also developed a strong sense of unity, trust, and teamwork that has carried them through the season.
In the lead-up to qualification, the team played two decisive matches. In the first, Brunswick displayed excellent control and strategy, claiming a 2–0 victory over Northcote. Building on that momentum, they delivered a commanding performance in their second match, defeating Gladstone Park with an impressive 5–0 scoreline. From defence through to attack, every player contributed to a balanced, disciplined, and dominant display, leaving little room for their opponents to respond.
BSC's place in the State Finals now confirmed, the team is eagerly preparing for the competition on the 9th of September, where they will face off against seven other top schools from across the state.
Whatever the outcome, their determination, sportsmanship, and skill have already made the school proud. Well done, girls — what an outstanding achievement!

Playing at the Regional finals with my friends was such an incredible experience. The atmosphere, the teamwork and the support we gave each other made it such an enjoyable experience.
It is such an amazing opportunity to now be heading to State competition - especially to be playing alongside friends and having the support of two amazing teachers who put in so much effort to help us get there!
