Playing with Fire...Safely!

During their first practical experiment, Year 7 students are introduced to the laboratory environment. As part of the 'I Am a Scientist' unit, they become familiar with laboratory safety procedures, scientific equipment, and how to conduct experiments safely. Students are also safely inducted into the use of Bunsen burners and, once they demonstrate competency, are issued with their Bunsen Burner Licence.
