Important Things to Know

Parking Reminder - Safety Around Gate 3 and Kiss & Drop Zone
We have received reports that cars are frequently parking on the footpath along the fenceline near Gate 3. This is blocking vehicles that are parked on an angle and, in some cases, preventing drivers from leaving altogether.
This area is not a designated parking zone, and parking there creates safety risks and congestion during pick‑up and drop‑off times.
To help keep everyone safe and traffic moving, please remember:
- Do not park on the bush side of Kiss and Drop or on the footpath. If you miss the Kiss & Drop zone, please drive around the loop and re‑join the line.
- If your child exits the car on the roadside (opposite the curb), please get out of the vehicle and supervise them safely.
- Children should only approach vehicles once they are fully stopped and positioned in the Kiss and Drop zone (after the large pole).
- Please continue to move forward slowly with the line and avoid stopping outside the designated area.
School finishes at 3:15pm. Students not collected by 3:45pm will be taken to the Office for supervision.
Alternate pick‑up locations include:
- Lower asphalt primary courts
- York Service Road (pedestrian crossing staffed)
There is to be no parking on Hawkins Road.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience. Following these procedures helps keep all students and families safe.
Run for Community – Primary School Cross Country
Tuesday 31 March | 9:00–11:00am | Top Oval
This term, our Primary School Cross Country will be held as our Run for Community event, replacing the Colour Explosion Cross Country.
Students will wear a white shirt and closed‑in running shoes and may choose to be covered in non‑toxic, biodegradable colour powder at the optional colour station after races.
This year, we are fundraising to:
- purchase new play equipment for our Primary School, and
support Stable One, a community organisation serving those experiencing homelessness.
Donations can be made via: TryBooking:https://www.trybooking.com/au/donate/runforcommunity
Parents and carers are warmly invited to attend and cheer from designated spectator areas. The event will kick off with the always‑popular Parent Race, followed by student races. Ribbons will be awarded, and students aged 10+ may qualify for interschool cross country.
The coffee van will also be onsite.
