Combined Wagga High Schools

Last Tuesday, our Kildare golf team competed in the Wagga Combined High Schools, Steve Elkington Cup played at the Wagga Wagga Country Club. Kildare has had a stranglehold on this trophy over the last 8 years but unfortunately lost to Mater Dei during the last competition pre covid lockdowns in 2020.

We are lucky enough to have some of the best student golfers in Wagga Wagga and all were very keen to get the trophy back in our cabinet.

Congratulations to our golfers who reclaimed the trophy with a solid 18-shot win over our nearest competitor - Mater Dei.
