Book Exchange is coming!

Fiji Book Drive 

For the past 2 years, the library staff have been participating in the Fiji Book Drive, setting aside boxes of donated and weeded books, and writing material.  Since 2012, the drive has donated 240,000 books to 194 schools and kindergartens in Fiji, making a significant impact.  

Their mission is to enhance educational outcomes and expand opportunities for students in Fiji by providing increased access to educational resources, primarily focusing on literacy.  

By repurposing books, computers, and educational materials, they ensure that these resources reach those who need them most. Sustainability is also a priority, as they strive to prevent waste and only send durable goods.  

We are proud to participate in this remarkable initiative by offering a collection of items for the Fiji Book Drive.
