Congratulations!

Wow, what an amazing day for the Dromana College Swim Team at the District Swimming Carnival held on Thursday 2 March at The Pines Forrest Swim Centre in Frankston. Second overall with over 30 events won, several records broken and a day full of fun and excitement.

Congratulations to everyone who participated!  We almost made history nearly beating the top team who won by only 30 points. If they were handing out points on team spirit, we certainly would have won easily! It was amazing to be a part of such a positive and competitive team. We won overall in the Junior Boys, the Intermediate Girls and the Senior Girls aggregate, which in the end led us to win the overall girls aggregate. What an awesome effort by everyone.Thirty students have made it to the regional finals, which are been held Wednesday 29 March at MSAC. Good luck to all the competitors - let us bring home some more gold medals!

I would like to thank all the teachers who supported us on the day and the staff who organize the swim squad before school to help make this event possible. A huge thanks to Ms Morrison as none of this would happened without her endless support and encouragement.
