Police Drop-In On Year 9 Programme

On Wednesday 24th July, Year 9 students had a visit from Sergeant Mark Bell, from Bendigo Police. Drawing on his experiences in the Police Force and sharing real stories and examples, Sergeant Bell presented a “What if …” session to the students on a range of topics including Road-Safety, Relationships, Drugs and  Alcohol and Online Safety, with a focus on being informed and staying safe in the years ahead. Students thoroughly enjoyed Sergeant Bell’s engaging presentation and participating in an open-forum, where they were free to ask questions and discuss the issues important to them. The teachers of the 2023 Programme and all Year 9 students would like to thank Sergeant Bell for his generosity in providing this opportunity.
