Melbourne Victory School of Football

Our Melbourne Victory Students attended a Melbourne Victory vs Perth Glory game on the first Sunday of the holidays. Students were treated to VIP treatment with Taqi A's story being shown on the big screen and Omid I presenting the match ball on the field. 

Senior Boys Volleyball

On the 15th of May, our senior boys’ volleyball team set off to represent Dandenong High School at the Southern Metropolitan Region competition. The team showed great grit and determination, never giving up despite facing off against some tough competition from around the state. 

In match 1, we started off strong by taking the first set over Nossal High School. However, Nossal was able to snatch the second set and carry their momentum into the tiebreaker third set to ultimately defeat us. In the second match we saw success, as Dandenong defeated Kambrya College in straight sets. The boys played great together and put into practice the awesome skills they’ve been developing during our training sessions. In our third and final match, we unfortunately lost to Melbourne High School in another close game. We came out of the gate excellently to snatch the first set from our undefeated opponents; however, they rallied back to take the second and third sets in what was our final game of the day. 

Although it wasn’t our day, I am so proud of the work our students have dedicated to being part of our school volleyball team this year. For our Year 12 students, it was their final opportunity to represent the school as part of a volleyball team, so to make the regional round is a great accomplishment. For our year 11 students, this will serve as a learning experience, and I hope to see them return to the team next year. Well done to all of our students!

Senior Boys Soccer

The senior boys soccer team had a tough draw today and were up against 9 other schools. Our boys ended up winning all of their games and became district champions! Redolf was a stand out scoring 6 goals throughout the day. Well done, boys!

Senior Boys Football

Our talented boys' football team secured an impressive 3rd overall position in the Senior Boys Football championship. Their dedication, teamwork, and skill led to this remarkable achievement, making us proud. Congratulations to the team on their success!
