Eucalyptus House

Hello to my fellow Eucalyptus students and teachers, as well as students from all other Houses. My name is Andy N and I am your Year 11 SRC for 2023. 

When I nominated for the SRC position, I knew that I didn’t just want to become an SRC for the sake of it, but rather I wanted to do something for the House. I wanted to contribute something meaningful and impactful, not only for the House, but especially for you and for me, us fellow students. Herein, I am very happy to announce to you some very exciting events up ahead as well as some reminders in regard to who we are as Eucalyptus House. 

For the entirety of last term, we have been planning a very exciting Table Tennis Tournament for you. The table tennis tournament is our answer for a new type of fundraising activity. We understand how boring it can be to just keep on selling food or candies or raffles for fundraising. So this year, we are running something that you can participate in and be excited about! Hence, the Table Tennis Tournament behind Eucalyptus House. Remember, for only $1 to join, there are some amazing prizes. One-of-a-kind medals, chocolates, canteen vouchers and best of all, the ultimate trophy for the ultimate champion! So don’t hesitate to participate and show others the table tennis skills you have been honing. Don’t forget to invite your friends to come along to watch and support those competing. 

Lastly, I would just like to bring attention to the lack of participation during the Swimming Carnival. You see, last term, there were very few students who participated on the day. Yet, despite all odds, we still managed to finish in sixth position. Which is why I would like to bring attention to the upcoming Athletic Carnival. After all, even if you cannot swim, you can run! We can’t let Eucalyptus House fall behind again, so if you can, make sure to join the Athletics Carnival and show what we are capable of! 

(P.S. And if you are not running, make sure to wear blue and come cheer for our house!)
