Callistemon House

Hello to everybody! As the Callistemon House Year 11 SRC Representative for 2023, my name is Phoenix S. 

Being the Year 11 SRC is fantastic because it allows me to interact with students and teachers more. I also get to coordinate different activities with other SRCs throughout the school and in Callistemon House.

In Term 2, the whole school will be participating in the annual Athletics Carnival. With Callistemon House placing first last year, I have high hopes we will be taking first place once again. I highly encourage all Callistemon students to step out of their comfort zone and to sign up to all events.

This term, Callistemon will raise money by selling hot chocolates for winter to benefit the Malala Foundation, which supports young women who cannot afford to attend secondary school in places like Lebanon, Afghanistan, India, and many more.
