Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix

Over the school holidays at team from Dandenong High School competed in the Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix. Ms Bowles and Mr Daffy would like to recognise the outstanding work of the Hydrogen Grand Prix team for 2023: Andy N, Keely X, Krish K, Ruba T, Ronan M, and Shukriya MA. 

Twenty teams from Australia competed in a Grand Prix endurance race. Dandenong High School was the only team selected to represent Victoria. They raced an incredible race and came 6th - a fantastic effort. The team engineered almost every aspect of their car. They were one of only two teams to design and fabricate from scratch a polycarbonate shell for the car. 

Their many, many hours of hard work, incredible camaraderie and teamwork, and application of design methods is a testament to the values of Dandenong High School and the ethos of this Design Engineering Centre.
