KAREN Youth SPECIAL Events

Our community is really enriched by the Karen community and there are 2 wonderful events that the youth, many form Northern Bay College have organised. Saturday 9 April has a great fund raising opportunity and on Anzac Day at our Goldsworthy Campus.

Due deference will be held on the day with a minutes silence at 11am

The fOrT Youth Centre

Lara United Registration

Lara United aims to provide a safe family friendly club environment for all ages and abilities. We field teams from the below listed age groups to our senior teams which compete in both Local and State League competitions.

Their Care Holiday Program

Their Care After School Program will be running a holiday program again these school holidays, from our Wexford Campus. Please refer to the flyer below for registration details.

“Join in the fun on Sunday the 10th of April from 11:00am – 4:00pm, at Corio Village Shopping Centre for a day of fun, recognition, and connection with our local emergency services!

Catch the SES in action at 12:00pm & 2:00pm as they take the public through their exciting live car cutting demonstration 

There will also be light & heavy vehicle displays, giveaway bags featuring randomly scattered items including retailer vouchers valued at over $1,500, a colouring in competition from Tuesday the 5th - Sunday the 10th, with your chance to win 1 of 5, $20 vouchers,  Surf Dive n Ski selfie station with your chance to win a $150 Sou’west Brewery voucher and family pass to the Ripcurl Pro, appearances from special guests and much more!

9:00am – 4:00pm – GMHBA Handball Competition (Centre Court)

11:00am – 4:00pm – Gift Bag Giveaway Station (Next to Kmart)

11:30am & 1:30pm – Northern Bay College Musical Performance (Main Stage)

12:00pm & 2:00pm – Community Services Major Demonstration (Car Park)

12:45 & 3:00pm – Local Musicians

Colouring In Competition

Our Emergency Services Colouring In competition will run from 9:00am on Monday the 4th through to 4:00pm on Sunday the 10th of April, 2022, located at the end of the Food Court in front of Rivers and Best & Less. Children who stick their completed colouring sheet to the activation walls will go in the draw to win* 1 of 5 $20 Corio Village retailer vouchers!
