There was a very important message sent by the Public Transport Authority to schools in the Greater Geelong area. Bus Drivers are reporting a major increase in dangerous behaviours by students when getting off buses. We clarified that it was not during controlled bus trips like school excursions - it is on every day bus routes.
Look right and left - don't cross in front of or behind vehicles at bus stops - seems to have disappeared as normal practice.
If you (students) or you (families of bus using students) can work to avoid this practice - we will all be happier with your safety.
