Did you know that Northern Bay College has 2 Community Hubs?

We do….... they are located at:

Peacock Campus                                          and                                     Family Learning Centre

Peacock Ave, Norlane West                                                                    Goldsworthy Rd, Corio

What is a Community Hub?

Community Hubs are welcoming places where families from diverse backgrounds, particularly mothers with preschool children, come to connect, share and learn. We offer a range of programs including English Classes, Sewing and Cooking Classes, Playgroup, Toy Libraries and a music program for bubs and toddlers. 

Our Term 2 program has been in full swing, with lots of great activities. 

If you have been thinking about coming along to a session at one the Hubs, please join us – all activities are FREE. Our Term 2 timetable includes a Toy Library at each Community Hub, this is a FREE service where you can borrow toys for your preschool aged children. We also have a Playgroup at our Peacock campus on a Tuesday. 

In term 2 we have been making wonderful creations in our sewing and cooking classes. 

We also held a bus tour for our newly arrived Northern Bay College families, where we visited all the NBC campuses, the uniform shop at Peacock Campus, Cultura, The Aviary Café and Geelong Food Relief, it was a great day & really helped our new families learn where things are.

The Community Hubs are welcome and friendly spaces that have provided great support and learning opportunities for our wonderful Northern Bay Community.
