Book Week August 20 - 26  

The The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book week is fast approaching with the theme of Dreaming with eyes open... 

Our Library friends throughout the school have been hard at work creating artwork to reflect this theme. Come into the Library and check out the amazing work they have created. 

We also have a competition running – are you able to match the dreaming quote with the staff member? 

Correct entries will go into a draw for an Orchard voucher. Come into the Library to enter. 

If you are ever at a loss at which book to read next, the CBCA winners and shortlisted books can be a great place to start looking. 

The Library catalogue has a Reading List of past and present CBCA Finalists available for borrowing – check out the Reading Lists next time you're looking at the Library catalogue.

Be More Chill 

As I sit at my desk in the Library writing this newsletter entry, the cast of this year's production are using the Library to warm up for their first show. The energy is amazing, and I highly recommend that if there are still tickets available that you grab some and go along :)
