Art & Technology Showcase Thursday 24 November

Register your interest to join us at this fantastic annual event featuring a gallery of works from our Year 11 and 12 Art & Technology students, featuring:

• Product Design (Wood & Textiles)
• Systems Technology
• Studio Art (Student choice of medium)
• Visual Communications
• Media

The gallery will be open for students to vote on their favourite works from Monday to Thursday  Awards will be presented by Special Guests at the Thursday Presentation Evening, which is open to the whole community.

Year 7 Product Design - Signage Project

7G have worked hard to apply their new practical skills in the workshop. Using measuring & marking, cutting & shaping and surface decoration of painting and wood burning to produce their creative signs for their chosen end user. Some students used the laser cutter to create their outcomes. We are super proud of what they have managed to achieve in term 2. 

Year 9/10 Amplify Laser-cut Jewellery Class

Year 9/10 Amplify worked well in Term 2 to create and make their keyrings. Students were taught how to use Illustrator, a Computer Aided Design (CAD) programme to design their products.  Students used the laser cutter when cutting out their designs.
