Morrisby Profiling

Well done to the Year 9 students who have already completed the Morrisby Profiling in the last few weeks. So far, about 1/3 of Year 9s have completed the profiling. There will be some catch up sessions starting soon, that will go through until the end of term, for students who have yet to complete the task or missed the first session due to absence.

Your Careers Practitioner will drop into your homegroup this week to remind you of this and provide any spare permission forms. Forms are also available in the Careers Hub in each Neighbourhood. Details of when and where to go for catchup sessions will be put on the Student Bulletin, so make sure you check it each day. We would still like students to bring their own laptops to complete the task. If you don’t have a laptop, or forget, we can arrange an alternative for you. Senior Students

For our senior students, we have been constantly adding careers news to the new TEAMs page – Senior Secondary Careers. If you have a look you will find lots of targeted information about many careers especially in the area of health and building environment (Architecture). A quick way to find them is to click on files. Once you have had a look don’t forget to book an appointment to see your Careers Practitioner to discuss any questions you may have. Secure a place at La Trobe University early

Year 11 and 12 students looking to secure their spot at La Trobe university early can apply now for the La Trobe Prepare program. It starts from May 2022 and is 100% online and free.

The program is suitable for VCE (including unscored), HSC, IB and VCAL students. You will receive a La Trobe Entrance Score that you can use instead of, or as well as, an ATAR when applying for eligible Bachelor degrees.
